problem with subs

yeah i had another cdplayer in there imported from japan but i wanted something that i could listen to the radio with, so i already had another cdplayer and took it up there for them to install, they installed it and replaced my remote wire since it was pinched somewhere, so they replaced it and i go to leave, notice a sound whenever i change tracks on my cd or when there is no music player, go back in there and the guy said that it would not hurt anything, this was like 3 months ago, then fri nite i go to eject a cd and heard a pop, then subs go dead, but i'll have to wait to have them look at it since i don't have my subs in my car at the moment since i got a flat tire sat and have to wait until fri to get another one

you may have waited too long if they included a warranty on their labor..but if you had a warranty on the subs, then they should replace it since it's their fault.

wish the best to ya.

well since they said it was ok i thought it was, i'm gonna have them look at it and see what they say, if my subs are funked they will be replacing them, if they have a problem then i will have a problem and they don't want that.....

so you put the probes in the pos and neg terminals on the amps and played a song or test tone and there were no volts?

is th e protection light on?

check all wiring like fuses and remote wires and such

take it back to shop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah no protection light, the amp powered up, maybe i did it wrong but i'll just have to take it back up there, there is no fuses blown, i'm just pissed that this happened, they think that just because i'm a newb that they can take advantage of me, which is not going to happen, everyday i come on here i learn something new...
