guy did you already ship it? we had this dude buy a 880 from stereo1plus a while back and he had the same problem just a horrible screech, previous head didn't do it, and it only did it when it was on, replaced the unit with another 880, and it was perfect.

pioneer and thier ground loop isolation problems : /

i think you got the 1/1,000,000 problem with both units.

poor luck man, you'll definately recieve a new unit, at least thats what pioneer did when we sent back the bad 880 we had.

SENT IT to local service center in south florida, they seem to think pioneer will have them repair it instead of replace, i dont care either way,i would rather have the repaired one so i know it works instead of getting another new one.....my 8445 is getting fixed too..and i almost want to sell them both and get a p9 but i dont think i will...

bought it on the 31st got it on the 2nd ship it to repair place yesterday. atleast this hu broke right away. my 8445 didnt show signs of crap for about 3 weeks before i noticed anything.and i still dont have it back and that was from january.

WTF ??? My friend is an installer for a Premier dealear and I haven't heard of any problems with the the new line of hu's. I'll talk to him today and see if he knows anything.

OH AND AS FOR THE 8445 it turns out if i call him and he tells me he is not goign to pay me back,then i can skip the rest of the crap and get him arrested...so im sending another cetrifed letter then calling the police again
