Problem with PG RSDs

Alright well to answer all the questions...a wire came unsoldered in the crossover in my pro 60s, so I bought these to replace them while I try to fix the bostons.

Anyways, I'd love to give a comparison review, does anyone have a clue what this could be aside from the RCA cable? I think thats what it may be as well, definitely going to replace that as soon as I get home from the beach.

There will be no comparison between the two sets. Apples to oranges mang.

I am sure some people can get just about any set to sound decent........to their ears, but what is good to you, isn't always good to someone else.

With that said, I have heard both sets and had the PG's for a while. I would love to have a set of Boston Pro 60's, but to much chedder for me.

I'd never touch the RSD comp set. A boner started by ca.com is something I will not follow.
Word is that the tweets blow... literally.
Yes, tweeters blow when you send a clipped signal...

As for making the switch, I dont think its as bad as people are making it. I dont care for the pros much, nor the rsds for serious sq purposes, but for the price its hard to pass up.

Back to the original topic. Go back and check all your connections, its probably something simple.

i have 100 watts per on tap for mine and have had them crossed as low as 2.5k/24db and have had zero problems and i listen pretty **** loudly at times. there was either a bad batch going around or it was just simply operator error.

i currently have mine in my pillars on-axis crossed at 4k/12db along with a pair of ID OEM mids crossed at 2.5k/12db and am very happy with this setup.
