problem with my jl 450/4

hey i just installed my jl amp...450/4 about a week ago...im running some bs infinty speaker while i wait for my components to come in....and some focal acess 6x9 in the back...so i have about 60 rms running to the front and about 55-60 to the back ...but the amps heats up like crazy...one time i was driving around for liek 2 -3 hours...not bumping hard but had it at moderate levels...i opened up my ttrunk and touched it and it was real real hot ...i had to pull my hand away after a few seconds....is this normal???wat could be the problem.??? anyone elise wit this problem???

maybe you're running to small of a power gauge.

nah 1gauge compressed wire from knukoncpets...lol so that cant be it
