I can't use mine either (nor find these apparent bass and treble controls the website says it has) but i figured that was just because it needs a seperate module hooked up. I thought that multi-eq was used to connect to alpine amps to control the amps from the HU...

If anyone can shed light on the Alpine multi-eq that would be great... (or why I can't find the bass and treble control's... not that it matters as with crossover and the 7 band graphic eq I have it set almost he way I like it. need better speakers first >.

Thats right But if you fool around with the parametric EQ than you won't really don't need the treble or bass controls, and if you know how to use time correction properly than you really don't need imprint.

not to go ot, but there's a bit more to imprint than time correction...

imo (and only imo), if i had a 9887, i'd rent the kit for $50 from crutch (i'm assuming they are still doing the "buy it and return it" option) and play with it for a month...

but that's just me... i'm far from an "expert" tuner (i do know how to do proper time alignment though)... i do know that imprint did wonderful things in my car, and i've been mucking around manually for a few weeks now and can't approach it... but as stated, i'm not an expert, so ymmv...

I've never used Imprint, either. I tuned mine manually.
