Problem with master and slave sundown amps

I currently am running two sundown 1500's on two Fi BL's and have my rcas from the head unit going into one of the amps inputs then have another set of rca's coming from the output of the master amp into the input of the slave amp. I know the sundowns dont have a master and slave switch but heard they just do it internally. I set the amps the same just by looking (which I know isnt as accurate as using a meter) but it still shouldnt be this far off, because one sub moves so much more than the other. Currently will be adding the third sundown on the third BL but need to figure out why its like this with only two.

You have to do it differently. Download the manual from the web site
I am looking at the manual and have it like this

As far as I know, you must use the master as the positive and the slave at the negative speaker lead. And the 8 wire must be put in between for the automatic switching to work right. The subs must be wired to a minimum of 2 ohms, according to specs, but you may be able to get away with 1 ohm.

My wiring is a mess at the moment. I just received the amp and wanted to test to make sure its working. I have 6 bolts coming out of the box. 3 positives 3 negatives. Then just have it connected as 1 positive bolt to 1 postive on the amp 1 negative bolt to the negative on the amp same way one the second amp. Then a rca wire as pictured above.
