problem with jettas?

Well, ive read around and heard things about installs being difficult on jettas. My friend has a 200 jetta and he asked if I could help with stuff, but im not sure, because if its going to be that hard, than id rather not mess with it. So, what problems are there and in what aspects of it(headunit, speakers, amp install)? Or is there any problems at all? Thanks

jettas are quite easy.

awesome stock speaker locations, as well.

the monsoon amplifier can be problematic, best bet is to wire around it.

not sure if this applies to the jetta, but when i had an aftermarket HU installed in my 98 passat, there was a certain cable/wire that was disconnected. turns out a year later, that very cable allowed smog check computers to connect to my ecu. so VW had to diagnose that for me.
