Replacing tv speaker

Ok my ps2 cant play movies throught my system or it has mad static so im just gunna buy a new speaker for it since the current one sucks. Which should i get. The current one is 8 ohm but im not sure on the wattage so thats why im suggesting the 5 watt one

Does the static occur only when the ps2 is playing?

no all the time its b/c of the inverter i bought an in line attentuator and it made it worst

For a new speaker, you might look into a true full range speaker. It may not drop right in but you could always put together a simple enclosure for it. The hi-vi's are neat little speakers but I would want something that can go a bit lower and have higher sensitivity to make use of the limited power.

good luck and don't pull the red cap off of the back of the tube. has a killer amount of residual voltage/ampage in the tube.
