Problem with Arc 4150xxk and its rear amp

i recently bought a 4150xxk from someone on here and this is the exact pm i sent to him...

dude, i really need your assistance right now. i dunno if you know, but i already have an arc 4050-xxk so i have experience with arc amplifiers. i just tried to swap out the amplifiers using the EXACT same settings. after hooking up your amp, as soon as i turn on the amplifier, the power light comes on, then shuts back off...repeatedly. the only way the power stays is if you set the rear amp selector to "L&R SUM MONO" or "(FL IN) BRIDGED"...and even in either of those settings, the rear inputs don't work. please let me know if there's an existing condition and what we can do about this.

he bought the amp from me, i tested each channel prior to de-installing the amp and they all worked.

the rear outputs actually work, i've tested that much. it's when i switch the rear amp to stereo mode that the amp gives this sound through the outputs that sounds like it's charging up, makes a loud pop, then shuts off....and it continues to do this over and over.

again, i set the amp up the EXACT same way as i did with my 4050-xxk (except for the gains) and my 4050 has worked flawlessly for 2 years like this.

NVM, I see it, something is wrong with the amp. When I had a problem with the inputs the issue caused the rear left channel to go out sometimes. No weird pops and stuff though.

Did you try flipping the frnot and rear inputs?

you mean the rcas? i get the problem even if the the cables aren't plugged in.

Arc is $175 flat rate repair, iirc. (Through arc audio.)

That's probably not that bad dude (repair through Arc Audio) I am really backed up at the moment, got a lot of amps in the shop and getting married this Sat. So basically nothing is getting done at the shop till March 3rd.
