Problem with amplifier ?

Please if you can help me with my problem.

I have amp. Pioneer GM-3100T and and I have conected all wiring power, ground, rca from radio and sub.

Problem is that amp. is only working when i have turned on fm/(rds radio), when i change it to cd player amp. isnt workin (it goes dead- the led trurn off).

I dont now what is the problem maybe the power??

Please help??

Do you mean when you switch from Tuner to CD function the amp shuts off? What HU you using?

Sorry on bad english!

Sounds to me that you have the wrong blue wire connected as the remote turn-on lead.

There's a blue wire coming out of the wiring harness attached to your radio that you've got connected (I will assume) to the remote activation terminal on your Pioneer amplifier. Well - there should be a second blue wire in the radio's wiring harness and it sounds to me like the one you didn't use is the one you should have used.

The reason that there are two blue wires is that one is used for accessory activation (such as amplifiers, EQs, and whatnot) and the other is meant for electric antenna duty if you have an electric radio antenna. On some radios the output meant for electric antenna duty only carries a current when the radio is in tuner mode. In CD or Aux. mode that lead goes cold.

I am using Sony CDX-R3350, yes when i switch from Tuner to CD it goes dead.
