Problem solving

Hey guys a few months back my right front speaker stopped playing and giving off sound, I thought it was blown and so bought a new pair of polk audio db651's. When I switched them out, the speaker was not blown and the right side speaker still doesn't work when connected. I have no idea whats wrong with it, I am assuming possibly wiring, but I have no idea. Any feedback would be great, thanks.

This is in a 02 honda accord by the way with a kenwood mp242 deck.

Take the deck out and check your wiring. If it's good then switch the wires on the deck for the two front speakers and see if the problem moves to the left side, or if it stays with the right. If it moves, your deck is bad. If it stays, your wiring is bad.

Yes. If you can get your speaker to play with it hooked up to the other channel, then you know that channel is bad. If it still doesn't play on the other channel then the wiring is bad, since you tested the speaker itself.
