problem playing MP3s?

Well I made a disc of MP3s and just about filled up all the 700MB with songs. Like just under the 700MB line. Now it worked fine in my deck for a like one night and now it won't hardly work at all. When it will read it the songs will skip alot and sometimes just stop playing altogether. Anyone know why this would be? If it matters I have a kenwood kvt-715dvd and it plays every type of disc/format that I know of. Thanks in advance.

burn another disc and see if it does the same... dont' copy that one... make sure u don't have wma's & mp3's mixed in the same folder

Oh you can't have WMAs and MP3s on the same folder? Or on the same disc at all? That could be the problem.

some radios are VERY picky... my older panasonic... i could have them on the same disc... but not in the same folder... they had to be in seperate root folders... try just mp3 next time and see if that works

Will do. Actually I'm just replacing all the songs I wanted on there with new ones that are higher quality and all mp3s too. I never cared because I never had a need to burn in mp3 format without an mp3 player. Thanks for the help; anymore tips to burning mp3s/wmas though?

i don't use wma's... just mp3's... and i organize mine so i know where all my songs are... i do it by cd's... or if i just throw random songs on there... i do like A-E... F-L... M-R... S-Z... and put my songs in there according ot artist name

also whats the bitrate of ur songs? mp3 players only play a certain bitrate range and sometimes mine is gay about it. its max playable rate is 320kbs, but itll play that sometimes, and sometimes not. same song, same cd. ive had better mp3 experiences with alpine than pioneer, but then again i shouldnt be playing mp3s in the first place //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
