Problem Need Help!!!!!!!!!

Im looking into gettin new subs. I drive a 2000 Ford Focus 4dr sedan. But i have a problem, for some reason, subs never sound THAT good in my car. For example, my friend got a Kicker 12' CVX and it sounds AMAZING in his Eagle Talon hatchback, but when we put it in my car with the same amp and wiring and everything, it sounded only DECENT. And then we put the CVX in the back of a S-10 Single cab and it even made the roof flex!! I can never get this kind of reaction from subs i put in my car!! In his car, it literally sounded almost twice as loud, like he has 2 12's. I just don't get it!! I think its just probably because his car is a lot smaller or something along those lines. But is there anything i can do to my car to make subs sound better/louder?!?! For example taking out the back seat. Plz dont just tell me to get a new car either. Thank you for any help you can give me!!! : )

Also, i need help choosing subs. I want 2 15's i know that much, but im trying to decide between 2 15" FI BL's, 2 15" RE SX's, or 2 AudioQue HDC3's. They are all the same in terms of RMS and Peak watt rating and in price, 1000 rms and 2000 peak and anywhere from $279-$289. But im pretty sure you can push them all a little harder than 1000rms, for example 1100-1250 watts. Im going to be powering them with a Power Acoustiks 4000d mono amplifier wired @ 1ohm, so each sub will be getting around 1100 watts rms. And they're goin to be in a ported box tuned to 38hz. Tell me what you guys think, and what i should go with. Thank you in advance!!! : )

the AQ can take 2K easy, but will sound good on 1500 each.

Power acoustics is meh to me.

Much better ways to get that kind of power like the AQ 2200 for 389 new.

you will probbaly not have the room to do 2 15" ported, 1 would probably be much louderw with the space you have.

Yeah, 2 will fit. Because the box im going to get is 40" wide, and the biggest i can fit is 42", so yes 2 15's ported will fit. Have u had any experience with RE Audio or FI?? Or just AudioQue? Thx for ur input : )
