Hi,
I have a 2005 Chrysler 300. This is my first time trying to install an aftermarket radio, and I've ran into a few issues. The radio I bought has wires for + and - for four speakers, but I didn't realize the stock radio used a CAN bus (my new one doesn't use CAN). So basically, on the car, there are 2 ground wires, 2 +12V wires, 2 CAN wires, right audio + and -, and finally left audio + and -. I believe these go to an amplifier. I was hoping that I could get away with just connecting a single speakers wires to each of these, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Can you not just put normal audio signals on these "right audio" and "left audio" wires? Do I have to find the amp and get the speaker wires out manually?
If anyone has any advice or able to point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
Also, this is the stereo I bought: Amazon.com : Pioneer DEH-X4600BT CD receiver : Vehicle Receivers : Car Electronics
