Prestige alarm? good? bad? deseperatly need help

I have a Prestige alarm and they are not a peice of shit,I have not had a problem with it and I installed it myself.it`s been 2 years and it still works..there`s no need to bash Audiovox Alarms they may not make good audio equipment but their alarms are right up there with DEIs and that`s a fact btw I have install several alarms so I`m not a rookie.

What the Fu(k ever peices of shit are exactly what they are. DEI is the standard i go by.

with dei your mostly paying for a name why else would theymake alarms under different name..python.viper..etc..btw there are better alarms the dei,COMPUSTAR comes to mind and are you say that the prestige 996a is not on par with viper top of the line? surerly you just..do some research and stop name dropping

I had an alarm. They broke in my car about 4-5 times. Everytime My pager went off. I don't have a name brand alarm. I have the alarm called crime guard 850ie. It saved my car many times. I got a few broken windows but I rather have my window broken then getting my whole system jacked. An alarms serves as a eye. Goes if means someone is jacking your shit. Its your turn to shoot them or hurt them!!!
