Im hoping that using this cheap setup would be ok. I really just want something cheap and easy. I know its not gonna get any spl trophies. I was thinking about using a

HDS212 subwoofer

and a cheap vented box

Belva 1SV12B 12-inch Vented Car Sub Box Made with 3/4" MDF and

Im hoping to use around 500 to 600 watts rms. I could build a box, but I really dont want to pay for the plans . So i would have to use free plans online etc.

Thanks for any suggestions or comments.

might not sound too good but it'll work. Thats 1.8 cubic feel gross, not accounting in port area, thickness or subwoofer displacement, you might only get 1.2-1.3 actual cubic feet airspace out of it and the port area is pretty small. Your subs need at least 1.8 cubic feet with enough port area to match it to start wanging like they should.
