Pre-Workout Drink????

I honestly dont care much for pre workout stuff. I try to eat some compley carbs and some protein, So I eat whole wheat tuna sandwich. Or if I am lifting in the AM I will eat a couple waffles covered with crunchy peanut butter. Then post workout I **** down a mass builder with atleast 50G of protein and close to 1k cals. I maintain roughly 10-11% BFP and currently weigh 210 and I am 6'1" but have been out of heavy training for a year. I was gonna compete in the west texas classic in middle weight novice. But I got laidoff and cant afford to eat like a mad man and work too much to properly train.

I am not a fan of creatine, history of kidney stones in the fam and I can feel the kids hurtin when I tool celltech no matter how much water I drank. If you have an energy issues try out redline. lol. Its crack in a bottle.

 
I run an ECA stack....more than enough energy for workouts.

When not running that stack, it's 1,3-dimethylamylamine and caffeine for energy.

I keep it simple and cheap. These pills are like .25 a day, all things added up. The only other things I **** with are protein and creatine.

Cell tech is retarded. The only way you're going to gain weight is through either water retention or caloric excesses. Guess which one cell tech promotes? There's not even that much creatine in it, it's just creatine and sugar...lol.

You can gain 1lb/week by eating an extra 500 calories a day. If you do nothing to your diet, but add .5 gallons of milk daily, you can gain anywhere from 1.5-2lbs a week - try it.

 
jack3d is good and shocker nutritions pre-workout is decent. ive personally tried over a dozen pre-workouts myself and non have any effect on me. my metabolism is retarded. im 5'10" 176lbs with 5% body fat and havnt taken anything but protein. i metabolize anything too quickly so i have to eat like a bear in order to make gains. hemo-rage is pretty good. buzzerk tastes good but doesnt work well, superpump250 only works for about a week on most people. NO-Xplode is decent but only works for a couple weeks, 1MR is garbage, dark rage tastes like your tongue is in a butt hole and doesnt work well, white flood is pretty good and tastes good, and most others are whatever. i havnt had a pre-workout that actually works for me but everybody is different. ill take 2-3 servings at a time just to get the caffein energy but that just keeps me awake at night. a lot of people i know are switching from powders to pills such as "NO Extreme" and stuff like that. theyll take a good half our or more to start working, but you gain vascularity and energy pretty strongly once its in your system. dont take monohydrate creatines.. maybe a kre-alkalyn but its not necessary really. you can start a cycle of natural test booster, which will get you harder, stronger, and gain lean mass as well. just take a good protein such as pro-complex by uptimum nutrition, eat a ton of high carb, high calorie foods, lots of fish, red meat, and stuff like that.

Maybe 8-10, 7 at the lowest. 5% is freakishly low and bordering on "holy shit death is imminent" levels for men. That is contest-prep levels.

 
Creatine isnt cool, if you want to do shit right then get a protein, nothing steroid or anything. Creatine is awesome as long as you want to lift all your life, when you stop lifting creatine turns to fat in your body so all your shit goes to flab.
your dumb as balls. muscle cant be turned into fat and vice versa. creatine fills the muscles with water and provides them with more atp to reduce fatigue and lactic acid build up.

 
Can anyone posting "how good one or another drink is" actually back it up with a little more proof than just "I feel a difference" or " I get a better pump"??? I don't see anyone on here that's offering advice with any proven results. And no I don't care what you look like or if you say you can bench 500 on the internet. Has anyone actually won any competitions because of these products?

 
There isnt a single bodybuilder or power lifter that has ever won because of a drink. Now they might have won from 9 months of bulking cycle and 3 months of serious cutting cycle and diet. Going from 25%+ BFP to 3-5%. My good friend cut from 295 to 223 in 3 months, he was 5'10" being generous. Best he ever looked and he was a 3 time Mr Texas. He died in a car wreak 2 years ago. Supercharged C6 vette.

So to answer the question THERE IS NO MAGIC DRINK TO GET YOU SWOLE. The best thing you can do is get some carbs and cals to help keep you from crapping out. Energy drinks help to keep you going. Caffine is used by alot of runners too to keep them going. I used to take caffine pills pre workout. If you are cutting and seriously lacking energy durring workout look at redline.

 
I have seen great gains from No-xplode and SuperPump250 but superpump mixed with orange juice is amazing but creatine feeds your muscles water so drink lots of water and protein and glutamine are great for repairing muscles
Agreed. No-xplode for your pre-workout stacked with CellMass for your post-workout.
