Pre-Workout Drink????

Creatine Mono is a proven supplement. It has scientific backing unlike the majority of supplements out there. It is the only thing I take and would recommend it to others. 5 grams a day is the recommended dose, no need for a loading cycle. You can get a kilo for around $20 which will last you forever. Try for a brand that uses "creapure" which is a reputable manufacturer.
What brand do you take? Have you tried others, and what do you think of each?

I personally notice a much bigger difference if I up my intake of red meat especially stuff that isn't as affected by hormones as cows. I eat lots of Lamb before a competition.
Well I'm definitely no competitor, just trying to lengthen my workout and get some more reps in before my muscles give out on me.

Seriously try adding a little more red meat and fish to your diet and see if that doesn't make a difference in your workouts. And if you're doing it right a weight lifting session shouldn't last more than 20-30 min.

Right now I have Prolab I believe, which is made by creapure. It will cause some water weight gain but helps to hydrate your muscles. It wont make or break your workout by any means but I believe it is helpful. There have been numerous studies citing athletic improvement as well as mental cognition.

However of course there is no replacement for a proper diet, but you would have to eat a lot of meat in order to obtain the same creatine levels as supplementation. Some people do not respond to creatine as well as others so it a personal thing. But you can get it cheap so its usually worth it to try. Stay away from other variations besides monohydrate because they are known to be converted into non-useful forms when they enter the body. Plus they are usually more expensive.

just my 2 cents

Not reading all the bullshit on the thread but get MuscleTech's Cell-Tech Creatine Pro. The shit works. Regular creatine averaged .6 lbs gained in a week. This shit averaged 4.3 lbs in a week. I personally gained 5 in a week and its still going. Makes you pretty swole.

Don't buy any of that NO crap. It's been proven to be an overpriced caffeine with a few other ingredients that have minimal effects

I've done it all. Just pick one use it. See how you like it. Take some time off and try another. The time off is essential though otherwise you will see diminishing effects no matter what product you are trying.

And if your trying to get cut up for summer, Didn't see your location, i'd hold off on creatine mono. I try to stay off of it close to summer to reduce bloat and to show more definition.
