prblm w/ speaker connection

well....i start my car up 2 days ago...and all i hear is my sub hittin. theres no music along with it...so im on my way to school hit a bump and theres the music playing from the speakers. if i hit another bump it will shut off. so that afternoon after school i go to my car turn her on and guess what...it works..until i hit a bump in the road. so i do some experimentation...on the way i home at a few redlights i quickly shut my engine off and take the key out of the ignition completely and start her back up

here are my findings...

1. if i hit a bump it will turn on or off depending on what it currently is

2. when i turn the ignition on from being off the speaker makes a clicking sound. and with the speaker grill off you can see the speaker going in and out extremely as it clicks. if its off and it clicks twice it stays off. if its off and clicks once it turns on. almost like a light switch. if the lights are on and u hit the switch once they turn off but if u hit the switch and back up they of course turn back on. the car will randomly decide wheter to make the clicking sound once or twice...lol

3. the sub always plays

love to be hearing from somebody i used to post on here a lil bit and ive came back for help....it'd be greatly appreciated

the speaker is grounding out, probably your backdash speakers. Speaker wires touching metal. check them wires.

it could be any of the wires in your system as well. A bad ground or loose power cable will have the same symptoms.
