Post your home audio setups. Here is mine.

I've heard mixed things about puttng Heresy's on taller stands; you tend to lose bass response by getting them high off the floor.

That's what Forte's have the advantage in, going from sealed to a 15" PR makes a difference //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You don't have to worry about that with floorstanders //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif... Anyway, I agree with JimJ that tall stands with those might not mix too well... However it looks as if he has a sub to add lowend so he would prolly be ok with standard height stands...

Just discovered this part of the forum. My roots are in HT, but I ended up on this site for car audio knowledge.

I've had this set up for 3-4 years now, other than the PJ which I added about 4 months ago. I'm VERY pleased with the A/V experience it offers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

CC is a Klipsch KLF-10 that I converted to a CC by removing the baffle and making a new one to move the woofers outboard and mount the horn horizontally.

Surrounds KLF-20's

Rear center - JBL S-center

Subs - 2 HUGE ported boxes with 2 15" Tempests in each\Hypex amp - 800watts.

Denon 3802

Toshiba DVD player.

Optoma H31 PJ

DIY acoustically transparent 92" screen.

Rear center was a KLF-C7 but had to sell it a while back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif The JBL keeps up fine and no issues with timbre matching.

Optoma H31 that I picked up for $600 connectec via component cable. Puts out a very nice picture and I didn't spend the extra $$$ for an HD version as I wasn't willing to shell out the $$$ for an HD DVD player at this time.

Besides to me it's all about the big screen vs looking that critically at the image being displayed. I tend to just enjoy what I'm watching and not try to pick it apart.
