If thats the case then what the fvck is the point. people don't blame healthcare for people dying every day from flu, colds, and broken toes. It's cancer, and disease, and acute injury. You are saying it's going to be pretty much like many republicans on the other side of the fence do, "Sure it's free and available for everyone, but it sucks *** and won't do you any good."
You are missing a vital point. Other countries do have very successful universal health care programs but many of these have been the same and many others had infrastructures and government systems much different than the USA.
The problem is not whether or not readily available heath care would be good for the general population, but whether or not this system can be effectively implicated in our already stubborn economy.
