Actually america is pretty much the only super wealthy country that does not have some sort of universal healthcare.Who'd it work for? Im curious.
That's the point of view of corporate america. No, not people that 'want'. When I was discussing the people with a false sense of entitlement I was discussing people that believe healthcare is a human 'right', not a privileged which it truly is. Healthcare is like owning a home, having a driver's license, owning a car, getting married. All of those are privileges, none of them are rights.

Thats why wealthy ppl from all over come here; for unsurpassed medical attention. With universal healthcare it would go straight down the pooper.Actually america is pretty much the only super wealthy country that does not have some sort of universal healthcare.
Am i saying that means we should have it? No.
I don't think it will work with the american economy
remove that and watch innovation disappearThat's the point of view of corporate america.
I believe advancements in technology, medicine, etc. Should benefit the entire human race, Vs. Empowerment of the few and exploitation of the masses for profit.
Socialized medicine followed up by amnesty for all our illegal aliens so they can hop on the healthcare sounds awesome....yaySooner or later, government-sponsored insurance would run the private insurance companies out of business. Why would I pay X amount of dollars to have my own private insurance, when I could just get it from the government? Shit, I'm paying for it already. And I'm paying for Jose the illegal immigrant.
If this passes, mark my words.. it will be a quagmire much like social security.
