Ports in car trunks

My new box is going to be sub facing back of trunk with 2 4" PVC ports firing through my backseat center armrest to get most airflow into cabin. Ill let you know how that goes.

yup Im going to be running a single 15" HDC3, in a 4.5 cu ft box tuned to 40Hz, and powering it will be an Orion 5000D. All in a 2006 mercedes c230, this shit should be loud lol. Ill let yall know.

So far every set up I've seen with ports like that faced the subs forward and port back. Definatly would love to hear those results. Good luck!

 
although my car's seats fold down I found out the loudest in my car is port and sub facing drivers side of car......

now everyone's cr is different so this question will be determined by trial and error....GL to you

i'm right there with you. sealing off my trunk and putting subs/ports right in the back seat!
