porting threw the rear deck

Yes. Well thats my 2 cents. I have never done it. But for SPL and just having the tunes come into the cabin area yes its worth it. If you seat does not fold down. Its a good way of getting the Freq. to enter in the cabin area.
A 30 mhz tone is 32.8 feet long. I don't think a small hole makes much of a difference for sound travel at these low frequencies. The difference in sound is negligible with my seats down or not.

My buddy has an older camry and his 2 12" type r's didnt seem as loud with subs forward and slot port forward. We rebuilt with the same subs and amps, slightly smaller box, but 2 6" aeros coming out the rear deck but angled to follow the contour of the rear windshield, and it sounded a heck of a lot louder to the ear, especially in the back seat.

Definetely had a gain in that car

LOL. Who said anything about a small hole???? Its a crown vic with a big deck. Could make a good size hole.

Not sure if anyone else was thinking this. But What if he goes to a few shows. Wouldnt he be in another upper class If he'd removed his back seat. Hope you are hitting some good numbers then.

By the way, Crown Vics have the gas tank in the trunk, and you couldnt get any aeros up in there. Would have to be a slot port that drops down a couple inches and then turns back. The little shelf under the rear deck is in the way.
