for those of you who take the extra time and effort to port thru the rear deck of the trunk cars... is it worth it?
gtfoYes. Well thats my 2 cents. I have never done it. But for SPL and just having the tunes come into the cabin area yes its worth it. If you seat does not fold down. Its a good way of getting the Freq. to enter in the cabin area.
thats kinda what i was thinking... if you've never done it than how the fuk do you know?gtfo
well im looking at a crown vic and from what understand the rear deck is HUGE in those so running 2-6" or 2-8" ports shouldn't be a problem, but alot of people still stick with the old sub back port back so im curious on the differencei kow a lot of peoploe on here just seal there trunk and have the subs and port fire into the cabin. so id say yeah it has to be worth it.
Hummm. An Ignorant statment to say. But I guess I have to explain. No I have never done it with any of my systems. But I have helped others do it and always suggest it when going to comps and see ppl who do not do well with a trunk system when they cant fold their seats down and dont wanna rip their seats out. I guess blind ppl like yourself missed the rest of what I said. females do that often. Only hear what they wanna hear or I guess in this case read.gtfo
Only thing really to do is to try it and see what happens. Mostly everything is done by test and retest. If you going to do it. Cut that baby all the way out. I know the crown vic and yes it does have a big deck so why not just cut it all the way out. Understanding you will be leaving important parts in. Unless you wanna lose your back seats like everyone is telling you to do. Are you going for any world records. Loudest in the state.well im looking at a crown vic and from what understand the rear deck is HUGE in those so running 2-6" or 2-8" ports shouldn't be a problem, but alot of people still stick with the old sub back port back so im curious on the difference
ehhhhhhhh i feel there is a major loss in output in mine. it's very car variable though. my car is ok with the setup but i know it's not optimal.

Explanation would have helped in the first place, you stated that you have never done it, but you think it's a good idea. that's it. If you don't have any experience with it, you really have no business giving advice.Hummm. An Ignorant statment to say. But I guess I have to explain. No I have never done it with any of my systems. You must be blind son. Or have no reading comprehension skills. If you did both of those statments would Imply I have some kindof experience in it.Explanation would have helped in the first place, you stated that you have never done it, but you think it's a good idea. that's it.
