Porting my stealth enclosure? (wip pics)

if its sealed, fill it with water. that will be the most accurate. Just use a 1 liter bottle or something of a known volume and keep adding until its full. Unless you have a huge graduated cylinder this will be the easiest way.
hahaha. now i wish i DID have a huge graduated cylinder, cause that would be hilarious.

to the pool!

So, according to Dr Pepper, the box is (approximately) .98 cu/ft.

I guess that means ill have some expanding to do if i can port this thing. Tuning wise, ill just be going with whatevers recommended for the sub i decide on. I think what that means is Id like to grab an fi bl/btl, patch on another .5/.75 cubic feet, and port it to match.

Do you guys think that this is feasible?

the port would take up too much space a 3in port would be like 15in long in that small of a box so your stuck selaed or remake the box.

If oyu wher ein florida id whip oyu up a really good glass box in the ampe space you have there

how is that stealth? it looks like a tumor.
No its not

that small a box would require too much port area and way too long a port to tune low, now if you wanna tune to about 60hz you'll be fine.

Now build a ported box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just wondering, could you elaborate on what Dr. Pepper told you? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

btw, Dr. Mario told me to take lots of pills... but that was a bad idea... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

nope, he didnt have a phd (or much info at all) in enclosure construction.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Im kind of at a loss as to how i can build a box in the same place (ie, same space constrictions) that is ported.

other option is get another Q (this time w the BP power) and run it at 2 ohms, 1800 watts
