i have .997cu/ft after drivers/mdf braces to work with for 2 id8's.

Should i go sealed or ported? I really like how one sounded sealed but how much louder would adding about .1cu/ft and another driver be? I've never used more than one sub so im not sure which way to go.

ported would be tuned to 34hz

.997 is way too small to make a ported. a ported box of that size with a tuning that low, that port would make the box 2x as large...

Yeah that box is 2x too large. You are going to want .5 cubes net for sealed, or for ported, 1.4 cubes net at 28hz. This is assuming a flat response. The IDs don't need very much space.

Im going to stick with sealed. the id's dont need much space but I've got even less //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I've got enough for sealed, sealed it is. Thanks PV
