Porting my box

okay im looking to jump from sealed to ported. im running 2 cvr 12's looking to get a little louder hopefully. my box dimensions are 38 wide x 14 deep x 14.5 tall could anyone give me suggestions on tuning, looking to use aero ports too.

~3.4 ft^3 is a lil small for 12s

1.75-2.25 is recc for your subs you could squeeze those in the box give them about 1.5 per sub

you got 3.4 minus around .20 for subs displacement not sure how much those displace just say .10 per sub so thats 3.2 and use one 6" aero which if u tune to say 33hz will take up around .34 so total will be around 2.85 but i would try to see if you can get more room

no not really id like to keep my box

then go buy a 5 inch aero and port it

it wont be ideal, but it will be louder

i couldnt say, there two cvr 12's so whatever they may.

just say they take up .20 together so that leaves 3.2 and minus port area

and get one 6" aero total length 18.43 including flare staright lenght 17.43 and u will have right around 2.9-3cuft for both subs and thats tuned around 34.7

it wont be ideal but might be louder than sealed if not then take the port out and seal the hole you just need to try it out
