ported vs sealed d9

i currently have 1 d9 12" dual 2 and a hifonics tx1505d which has a power rating of about 1500w @ 1 ohms but its overrated.. dont know by how much... but im looking for an enclosure for it.. and i was wondering if i should go sealed or ported? and why? im looking for the deep/punchy sound, thanks

if you go ported IMO this is the only enclosure to use for DA is the AE,

I have tried several on DA subs and this one was by far the best sounding.

It gives the tight bass of a sealed box with the SPL output that can only come from a ported enclosure.

If that box built to spec of the woofer youre using, that's actually one hell of a deal IMO

I have a d9 12 d4 that is in a ported 2.0ft^3 tuned to 26hz that sounds really good, I put it in a 1.25ft^3 sealed box and dont really notice too much difference.

I have tried them both,I find it more fun ported
