i buddy owes me money (100$) and he does not have it so he told me that i can have my choice of sub boxes that he has.

one 15" MTX 6000 in a prefab box

or

two 12" JL Audio W0 in a prefab

Can you hold out for the cash? How good are the enclosures? A well-built enclosure could easily exceed that value alone.

If you have no choice other than the 2, my vote is for the JL W0's. I've messed with both and neither impressed me much.

the boxes are every day prefabs from futureshop or best buy they are both sealed and mark has owed me the dough for 2 and a haft months i dont really need the dough but he is moving 4 hours away and i wont ever see the money and i want to get it so when he moves everything is cool

i had 2 jl audio w0 12's and they are pretty ok for a first system i was not disapointed in them for my first system but now i have moved on to louder things like my RE Audio SX12 so i would suggest the JL's over the MTX!

Id get the 15" and make a nice ported box built to spec and use that 500/1

well guys i went with the "underdog" the MTX thanks "trevor87"

any ways mark said that he has another MTX 15"6000 that i can have for 50$ so i grabbed that too..

so i will start making a box 2 morro for them. i am thinking one JL 500/1 per sub and 4.0ft3 tuned to 32hz 2 slot ports 4x14.25 (.22ft3) each sub so my box will be 2 chambers.with each chamber being 3.68ft3 net sub volume is .10ft3
