HEllo all, quick question, im downgrading my system right now, from 2 12.1 infinties to a smaller sub, possibly a 10inch alpine type-r, (some what of a downgrade lol) but anyways, im looking on some thoughts should i run a sealed or ported encloser??? anyone have experience with these subs??? i love the hard hitting bass but also want good quality, i think thats more towards the sealed side, i have a 95 sunfire, and a fold down seat that is down most of the time. thanks

il be powering it with a JBL 600.1 amp,. if that helps any lol, how come not use only 1??
2 would equal more cone area. But if you only have that amp then perhaps a 12" might be a better option?

il take all the input i can get, ive only owned 2 12.1 infinities type rs are loud but not great quality?? dragnix?
quality as in sound quality, then they sound like ***. If quality as in well built, then yes they are.

ahh lol, shitty sound quality mayby the 12 inch sub then??? or just forget about them period and get something else??? sugestions on a good 10 inch sub.... anything from bestbuy or futureshop??? yes i know there not best but its what i got lol

doesn't matter what size you go with, they all sound shitty. What's your budget? Perhaps you can be pointed in the right directions by the members here

are you in canada? Look up mach5 if you are

ok not getting many replies now lol, im a total nub i know. but anywho, if i was to use a sealed encloser would the subwoofer still hit lows??? it seems ported is better for the lows but how is sealed??? cuz i need some trunk space lol
