Ported or Sealed Daily Driver

I have a Treo Engineering SSX15 2500RMS

Soon, I am looking to get a custom box made for the sub. I have a guy who is going to make me one locally, but I need an opinion on either a ported or sealed box design.

I am looking for a lot of SPL! But also I don't want the bass to sound like crap, I want it to sound very clear and as loud as possible. I don't want to loss all that crucial bass by going sealed, but if it will sound much much better than I might go with that type of design. What do you guys think? Just personal opinions.

At the right specifications, ported designs can sound very musical and accurate as well.
