Ported Box Design Needed for two RF P28D-4's

Vehicle: 2013 Honda Accord

Location in the vehicle: Trunk

Space available (Length x Width x Height): 35" width, 14" High, 14" Deep

Subwoofer make and model: Rockford Fosgate P2D4-8

Subwoofer Size: 8"

Number of Subwoofers: 2

Type of Port (Kerfed, Slot, Aero, etc.): Aero or PVC

What type of music do you like?: Rock, Blues, Rap (In that order)

Is your goal SPL or Everyday Music?: Music, SQL

Tuning Freq (Hz): You tell me. RF recommends 40hz

Volume :

Rep at Rockford recommended 1.5 @ 40hz but that sounds high to me. Have them in a sealed box that's too big right now. Need to try and port them to get better low end extension. Thanks for your help!

What's the current box size?

I think I need to build a new box. The current box is .8 cubic feet, its too big to be sealed, but to small to be ported IMO.
