so thats it folks, put up what ya think.

anyone else want one of these? i enjoyed making it, it was quiet the challenege that payed off when i heard it in ft. lauderdale, and wednesday when the check comes : )

welp, thats it

and to the top.

stay tuned for my 5 cube build for a xxx 15 for the cRazY 6th order bandpass.

i didn't notice it until i took the pic.. it's just the way the marker looks on the wood with the pic, it's actually a pretty clean cut, nice and round.

sawdust keeps the box good, didn't you know?

i gotta wait until tommarow to get the shop vac, i dont own one, i mean you saw the pics of the floor of my 'shop' gonna buy it tommarow i think

ever thought of cleaning up the circle? looks like ***

about cleaning the box

sawdust keeps the box good, didn't you know?

i gotta wait until tommarow to get the shop vac, i dont own one, i mean you saw the pics of the floor of my 'shop' if i drop a drill bit now i just get another one, i cant find shit theres soo much saw dust, i've built 6 boxes and haven't cleaned yet. gonna buy it tommarow i think

clown, horrible way to start off, you won't last long.

anyway, i like the box, but the lines need to be cleaned up. they are screaming: "ORBITAL SANDER!!! SAVE US!!!"

otherwise, invest in a router cause the circle isn't ideal. the other reason why is because if the circle isn't cut on an axis (jasper jig, circle jigs etc) you don't know whether or not the driver will fit into the hole. chances are good that it will, but you never know unless you have it. also, i don't like the port configuration, it would have been just as good if not better (less chance for turbulence from those ridiculous edges) with just a regular slot or circular port. but not bad overall and this is just my opinion //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it tested well, no port noise, i was kind of worried about it, the woofer will fit, i measured it all around it's .034 inches over the woofer size, so it'll be snug like it should the pictures dont show how nice the circles are.. on one port it's a bit jagged, but i've block sanded it since then. i have a roto-zip.. i dont think i need a router the roto-zip is a beast, i bought a jasper jig but it doesn't work properly, i'm going to make one when i get some time for each size woofer.

are you familiar with a rotozip?

i've worked in a wood shop with every piece of equipment you can imagine, planers, jointers, full size 12 inch table saws, band saws, everything

i've used a router.. i love the rotozip over the router, the router isn't as precise at getting roundness, i just need to make a jasper jig, i did that circle freehand with 4 marks to show where it should be, i'll post up my 6th order bandpass box when i begin construction on that for a xxx woofer 15/12 whatever i can get my hands on, you'll see : )
