Port up? Port down?

Why couldn't you spread the subs a few inches and do a vertical port in the center? That's how we did them way back... just asking?? Maybe things have changed, but that always got us the best of both worlds .... At least we thought it did back in the early 90's ...lol...

Honest truth is I'm not certain I'll have adequate space.

Port top 4sure... I've sat in a few vehicles 157db plus with top port . Sounded great on music

They great for 2.5" coil woofers... But I'm going back to crossfire xs v2 or spl

I've also sat in a bottom port bpillar wall with 2 fi btl 18s on 5k and only did a 149 because that stupid bottom port.

I thought the 18's were 3" coil? I know everything smaller is 2.5

The 18s use a bigger motor then te 10/12/15 but still a 2.5" coil
