port position in a single cab pickup

wedge one end of the box and have the sub on a bit of an angle so it is

not pounding directly into the seat (get some air moving) and have the port

come out the other end shooting to the other side of the cab

or....have the port shooting forward under the seats

yea that would be great

thank for the help i dont know how i could port out the top or bottom because with 45 sq in of port area the port is like 30" so the only other way i knew to do it is out the front.

Dim. 55"X14"X7"X11"

WOW...what kinda single cab you got that you can get 11" at the bottom??..just finised a box for my reg cab chevy and BARELY got like 7" at the bottom and still lost a click or two on the seat.....are you like 4 foot tall or something...LOL...

mine was 61x16x7x4.5 tuned to 32hz port on the passenger side....14.5x1.5 (~22sq inches)

seems like the best (spl) setup i have done thus far...no numbers yet, but it "feels" pretty **** loud...

fords tend to have more room behind the seats than chevy's. I currently have a 13H x 42W x 8D and the box moves forwards and backwards because there is room between the seat and back of truck. Im 5'11" so not short.

Back on topic. I have done subs forward port forward and subs up port forward. I did cram a box behind the seat for a few days that had port and subs up. Personally I liked the subs up and port forward. Ive had the port in the middle and off the side. Cant really give an opinion on differences because one was made for sq and the other for spl. the spl one had the port on the side.

wow thats a sexy box

zierbox were are you at in tx i would live to do something like that

most i could get was 2.9 cu ft

i'm 5' 10" but very rarely does someone sit in the passenger seat so i leave it flipped up most of the time.

i dont see any way i can do sub up in my truck
