yea we have one of those cross members but its 14 and some off the floor. With that box I described I wouldnt need to move my seat forward at all. I also have 60/40 split bench which I hope to replace sometime soon because I want an arm rest.

Im hoping for high 130s with my new setup of 4 8s ported daily. Another fun wow factor is when the ladys sit on your bench seat while your system is up and a high note comes along...

i have seen a ported box that came out the middle between the bucket seats and was ported out the bottom the subs were still behind the seats. that gave him an arm rest and a lot of air for the 2 12" W3V2 he had.

yeah you can do a lot with buckets.....options dwindle quickly when you move to 60/40 bench...limited to about 2.5cubes max unless you wanna start cramming knees against the dash...lol

well my 05 you can unbolt the middle seat but my girlfriend wanted me to leave the midde seat for her

Why don't you build an enclosure with a cushion on top that will support her and house you sub or subs...

Well if our happy with what you have then dont change....if not then you always have the option of building the console and having subs behind the seats...
