Ok so I built my box for my L7 15 and put it in my truck and when I fired it up I noticed there is a massive difference between the sound levels between the driver and passenger seat, using a smartphone meter it was showing 10db higher in the passenger seat. Now this will probably the dumbest set of questions ever, but is it doing this because the port is placed on the driver side facing the wall to the side or is it just a failed design of the box? If its because of the ports placement, could i add a second port on the passenger side to even it out or should i just plug the hole and place it elsewhere? And just some info if its needed to answer box volume is ruffly 4.1ft, the sub is inverted at an angle facing the backwall, and the port is 5in long and 4in diameter. Oh also its in a regular cab ranger, not extend cab if that makes a diff too.
