popping sub, when changing cd tracks

are you using a factory radio? Check the RCAs at the amp. Sometimes that happens if the "bass boost" on the subsonic is set to high, or you just might have a bad set of RCAs

 
there is a certain part that is supposed to take care of thumps when you turn it on or off. just dont know much about it. yeah, rewire the rca's and subs and see what that does.

yeah my subs do that when I turn the reciever off. Its your reciever, all it is is a really amplified thump.
