Pop :( Protect mode

Cuz thats me. I posted here because this is an spl oriented forum(IE: Sundown) and i figured i coulda probably get some advice from people who have actually run Sundown and may have had to do some repairs. More eyes for more advice is never a bad thing.
Okay fair enough, but when it comes to internal failure, an this ain't your fault, if fuses don't do what they are intended for it's a factory error, accidents happen no matter what amp it is it's pretty common sense. If they blow like they supposed to, your amp wouldn't have overloaded, protect mode wouldn't of been engaged, fuses would pop an the amp switches off. Protect mode should be mostly if not entirely for when the amp gets too hot or when incorrect ohm loads are placed on it. Overheating and incorrect ohm loads cannot blow fuses so protect mode was introduced for reasons like so.
