how many of these shitty things are going to come out? why weren't there people preaching this shit BEFORE doomsday?
I has been preached for years, you just don't hear it on CNN or NBC!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

and actually it gets the gov. out of our lives also by gettng rid of cap. gains tax.

Bad idea.

The wealthy already only pay 15% capital gains tax on their main source of income (investments), while you as a wage earner can pay up to 35% in income taxes.

Why are some of you so ready to make up the difference in the taxes needed to adequately run a government instead of letting the wealthy pay their share?

Ramsey is a Fox Finance guy, of course he's going to promote a plan to favor the wealthy, but theres no reason anyone paying income taxes should listen to that tripe.

another thread on this....definately what we needed

your right, lets talk about Kove being gay, thats better:rolleyes:

I was bring another thought to light, or do you not give a crap about our economy. Or are you one of them that got a loan you shouldn't have? Or maybe your well of enough that it doesn't matter to you either way.

I thought I would bring this forward and here it is! like it or not. well until Johnny D gets here, then it gone:laugh:

I am not wealthy and I would definately do well with getting rid of the CG tax. as for the rich paying more, why should they pay more so the poor can have it, they have done well with life and why should they be punished? If more middle class people would invest for the future, they would benefit from this also. It would be a major boos for the economy, the investors would get back into the realestate game over night, and all the run off of that would be more than enough to get us back on top. hell corporations would stay here in the US is they weren't taxed more at home than in other countries.

they dont leave because of taxes; they leave because they can pay others about 5 % the amount to do the same labor. other governments have less restrictions on safety, quality, etc of the products so they can use inferior materials. has no1 noticed that since more and more products are being made in china and mexico and canada the quality has gone to shit yet the prices don't reflect the fact that you're only getting a product that is only 25% as good as they used to be??/

what your refering to it the cost of doing business and in many cases it is higher to do so here in the USA that in other countries. in some cases it is 5% or less, but when you look at large corps. that 5% or less adds up to millions of not billions of dollars. also in many cases that 5% is close to the amount they would pay in CGT.

Also there is ignorance in last part of you comment. Does Honda, Toyota, Komatsu, hell for that matter, RD and Sundown. In some cases you are correct, but who is to blame? Do you or someone you know shop at Walmart or Target? if they do they are part of the problem, I would be willing to bet that over 90% of the products in either of those stores are from other countries. why because we really don't care where its from or who long it will last as long as its a good price, (not a good value)

Dave Ramsey is a dummy.

He will never get you rich unless you sell books.

He acts like debt is the devil...

If you understand how to manage cash flows and maintain liquidity, debt is your friend. It is a level for acquisition.

I propose the flat tax amendment.
personally I would rather consumption tax.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif everyone pays that way, and to the level they spend, not what they can find loopholes to get out of;) It also encourages savings of excess income.

Removal of the capital gains tax will cost taxpayers nothing?
How so?

Currently we have a capital gains tax...where does he surmise the shortfall will come from? Other taxes perhaps?
maybe getting rid of some the waste? hell put that with consumption tax and you can get rid of 90% of the IRS, there ya go!
