They are both mounted right next to eachother running off of the same Polk amp. A few weeks back while i was waiting for my install to finish i went into the room and did my own little full range observation. And like i said, the Polks have nice clear tweets that are pretty loud but all it has is midbass. No lows what-so-ever.
then dont even buy the back speakers. you dont need them. if you know what a good system sounds like then i think you will be pretty disappointed when you put loud mids and highs in the rear of your Neon. like i stated earlier, highs coming from the back of the car will ruin your sound imaging. a good install and good sound imaging are just as important if not more important than good speakers. save your money and buy a really nice set of components for the front and amp them. hey, its your money.

True enough, but I have seen it time and time again where someone will buy something because so-and-so said they are the best, but fail to go out and audition anything. Then when they get them, they are disappointed.
