i have JBL GTO608c comps, but the tweets are too loud even when i drop it -6db and lower treble, i spoke to crutchfield and he suggested these, does anyone have any experience with these and are they woth it, i can get the DB6501 which are the silvers for 105.00?

you could just increase the pad on the tweeter, it would be much cheaper to buy a pair of 25W 8 ohm resistors.

the issue is the woofers are less sensitive than your tweeters, given your installation. what vehicle? where are they located? did you adequately seal the woofers to the metal and to the plastic panel/grill? seals boost woofer output by reducing cancellation.

Yes I sealed the woofers and I have a 2012 kia forte the tweeters are located near the sail panel. Should I move the tweeters lower more towards the woofer?

you are just experiencing how loud tweeters are when they are pointed at you. you could fire them across the dash and really tame them down.

moving them lower will attenuate them but also pull sound lower. you can aim them away from you towards the windshield also.

try towards the windshield. that will turn them down quite a bit while also improving the soundstage.
