Point me in the right direction.. ASAP!

Guys the truck in question is a 98 lincoln Navi. I want to either get a custom enclosure or MTX enclosure with the Sub firing DOWNWARD!

This is the amp I have installed:

Hifonics BX1500D:http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=218

My choice of sub woofers:

Ascendant Audio Assassins 10": http://www.ascendantaudio.com/assassin10specs.html

TC1000 10" Look @ the bottom 10" for $175.00 (single voice coil)http://www.tcsounds.com/tc1000.htm

Soundsplinters 10" http://www.soundsplinter.com/rli_series/rli_10_inch_DIY_car_and_home_subwoofer_driver_information.html

I PREFER 12" for real....

If there any other recommendation on subs that will work that would be great.... My budget on subs is about 150 a piece.. I been told by local shop that my current subs will not work in either a seal or ported enclosure, because of the lack of space behind the 3rd row seat...

Those subs are......http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2159

I know I'm long winded.. But my thoughts where to put them in a sealed enclosure and firing them downward... and call it a day since ported in not a option... I need to keep the third row seating (GOT PLENTY OF KIDS) LOL!

I have a navi as well is a 99 by the way and Im going with 3 12s behind the 3rd row. I bought a box that fits back there nicely with the subs firing down, I dont know how good the will sound. I'll keep u posted.

They actually make a prefab box that can be bolted up behind your third row seats. It's available in 1 12" setup, not quite sure about 2 10", but I think they offer other combonations as well. If I recall correctly, it's 1 cube sealed, and leaves a lot of room for mounting the amp, and such.

Ask your local shop if they deal with a company called 'dragon distribution' and then ask them to get ahold of Chris w/ dragon, if they do.

It's worked out surprisingly well for most of our 'family minded' customers.

We've also built a few customs to house as many as 3 12"s in small ported enclosures (usually tied in with the ARC 12" woofers...)

Here's a pic we took of one of our 3rd row seat boxes. If I recall correctly, this is an expedition. Recommended airspace for the subs, too. Hah.

*EDIT, just caught the downfire aspect.

Yes, there is plenty of room to pull off one 12" downfire.

and we have done a dual 12" setup like that, although it was VERY tight.
