plugging speaker into wall

ok so were in shop class and we were talking about blowing speakers by plugging them into a wall outlet they had never heard of that so i go get a crap 6x9 out of the truck and i plug it in i got wrote up and they tried to exspell me for attempted arson and attempted murder i was like what the **** yeah they got shitty but i ended up with friday school

I mean ... my shop teachers (nevermind the students) used to throw wrenches and other various things much more dangerous than plugging a speaker into a wall.

I mean ... my shop teachers (nevermind the students) used to throw wrenches and other various things much more dangerous than plugging a speaker into a wall.

I remember those teachers. My physics' teacher had a few university degrees and used to demonstrate lab safety by eletricuting himself and blowing up various electrical components. When he was teaching us digital logic and how to make simple electrical circuits, he told us point blank that he would hunt us down and kill us if we tried doing something stupid like making bombs.
