pls help headunit is acting up

HU = Head Unit.

again, do you have any speakers wired to the head unit? what is your setup?

take the head unit out, check all the connections. constant/switched 12v wires, and ground. as long as those 3 are good, it should power on.

if it keeps cutting out like you say, something is most likely loose.

but you said it says Protection, thats why im waiting for you to answer my question lol (about the speakers)

yes i have the speakers connected to the hu, i recently replaced my stock speakers with component ones because i thought this would solve the problem but the head unit still shutting off everytime i turn the volume up then it would turn back on. can it be from wiring/installing the head unit? what could it be ?

what speakers are they, and how u got em hooked to the head unit? most head units can only have speakers hooked to it at the lowest impedance of 4 ohms. if your below 4 ohms, which it soudns like you are, thats why its going into protect.

i just took the stock ones out and rewired the new ones. i want to know if this problem can occur from installing/wiring the head unit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
