they don't call you fastone for nothing...lol. I don't know what I'm going to do with the second one yet. If I'm satisfied with the first ones spl response then I'll trade it off or sell it. If not satisfied I'll stick in the other subwoofer with another orion 2500d. I know I know I need to uprade electrical system. I have an Ohio generator 300 amp alternator and I'm gonna purchase 2 batteries haven't decided on which ones yet still haven't done the research. If I'm not satisfied with the sq of these subwoofers I will sell them both or trade them both for other subwoofers. Before making the decision I want to give them a try first. Problem is I don't have a cerwin vega authorizeddealer near me and I want to get the correc enclosure for these subwoofers but I think that those sizes I stated in my original post are just to small in my opinion.

those look so much nicer than the old ones

do they perform as well? haven't seen much info about them, other than that review on another site

not too many people have them

hard for me to beleive they can perform as well and look so much sexier, especially now that they have a traditional cone

I've got there spec sheet but to me I think its too small of an enclosure. they emailed me a 1.42 cu ft sealed or a 3.3589 cu ft with 4" x 16.5" vent tuned at 25 hz

I appreciate all this but does anyone have any suggestions or has any thoughts on the enclosure type and size?? I might just go with what they reviewer used which was a 2.7 cu ft enclosure but I'm not sure if this was net or gross and it will make a big diference because this subwoofer displaces 0.52 cu ft of air space. so I would appreciate any suggestions, thank you

Andy, if CA&E had good success with the 2.7 why not start with that box and see how you like it. If you feel it is too sloppy or you want more output you can adjust from there.
