Holy llama! That amp needs an exorcism. I can assuredly claim the amp is the issue. Good thing is the amp still works. A tech sbould be able to fix that issue if you have no warranty on it. Any repair shops around your area; if not, there are a couple in eBay.

That is a good reading. Impedance rises with cone movement.
