Playing with a Cerwin vega stroker pro 15"

I got 2 of these subwoofers but only planning on using one for now with an orion 2500d amplifier. I'm planning on running this at 2500 x 1 @ 1 ohm. I emailed cerwin vega about reccomended enclosures and they sent me 2 excel spreadsheets but something doesn't sound right. they reccomend a 1.42 cu ft sealed box for this massive subwoofer or a 3.3589 cu ft with a 4" x 16.5" vent (25Hz tuning). Then a reviewer from a magazine said that cerwin vega reccomends 2.7 cu ft sealed and they had one built and the review was great. They reccomend that the enclosure be built with 1.5" thick walls. Anyone have any clue or any reccomendations.

I'm taking out half of the third row seat because i have bucket seats in the second row. I want to get it right so it sounds good but loud. any suggestions??

free!!!! a friend gave them to me. he had 2 others in his suburban and he soldthe suburban with the other 2 in it and he got a gto and he said I could have them brand new unpowered they were just sitting in his garage
