Other than the powerhandling being halved, and altering the T/S parameters you won't cause any damage just driving a single coil.

anyways, no. Its just another coil circuit in the winding with the one not being powered, so its just rendered useless and your not getting the extra output you would attain if you actually had it in a completed circuit.

i would say yes, because it will decrease the power handeling, it will decrease the output, and for most people who are otherwise educated, they will turn up bass boost and the input sensitivity to compensate for these issues.

get proper equipment, or dont use it i always say.
